Scholarships and Tuition Assistance

Schulze Family Foundation Scholarships

The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation has developed Early Learning Scholarships to assist middle-income families in gaining access for their children to excellent Catholic preschool programs. Scholarships range from $500 to $3000 depending on tuition, income, household size and need. Applicants must be preschool children who will be attending a Catholic preschool, such as St. Jerome, in the year prior to starting kindergarten.

ThinkSmall Early Learning Scholarships

ThinkSmall Scholarships are available for low-income families seeking assistance to attend high-quality early childhood education programs. St. Jerome Preschool is a 4-star Parent Aware Program (the highest rating). Families who qualify can receive a scholarship up to $7,500 per child. Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)

The State of Minnesota offers direct financial help for families of lower incomes through child care assistance programs. St. Jerome Preschool partners with Ramsey and Washington County Child Care Assistance Programs. Please call your local child care assistance office for more information and to apply: Ramsey County residents: 651-641-6665. Washington County residents: 651-430-6459.

Pioneer Foundation for the Performing Arts (PFFPA)

The Pioneer Foundation for the Performing Arts contracts with major event centers in the St. Paul and Minneapolis region such as Xcel Energy Center, Target Field, and TCF Stadium, to provide staff for concession stands during various events at these venues. In exchange for your time, PFFPA will send a check directly to St. Jerome School for childcare or tuition purposes. No taxes are deducted from this amount, as it is viewed as a volunteer program with donations made to the school. Individuals age 16 and older qualify to work these events. There is no maximum or minimum commitment. Individuals will receive tuition credit for each event worked, ranging from $50 to $120. More information about the program can be found online:
